Madelia’s story cannot be told through demographics alone. We are a small community that pulls from a 40-mile radius for our workforce, giving us a laborshed of 150,000 people. We are also a tourist destination with people visiting to attend our historic theater, eat at our fabulous restaurants, visit the brewery and wine bar and to camp and enjoy outdoor recreation. As a result, we support a lot of growing companies - many of which also serve the larger area and sell products online.
