For many school districts, free education starts with Kindergarten. At MPS, free education starts with preschool. The Madelia School Readiness Preschool has class schedules for children ages 3 and 4. Madelia Elementary School teaches grades K through 6th, and Madelia High School combines grades 7th to 12th.
Enhanced Education in the Madelia Area
The Madelia area wants the best for students of all levels. MPS partners with River Bend Education District to ensure special education students receive the quality education they deserve. MPS also offers Community Education “to enhance development.” From Early Childhood Education to adult education, Community Education has a place for eager students who want to learn more. While simultaneously pursuing state-of-the-art facilities, MPS continues to evolve Career and Technical Education (CTE) as well as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curricula.
